Medicare Supplements

Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) plans help pay some of the healthcare costs that Original Medicare leaves behind, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. There are ten standard Medigap plans, lettered A through N, available in most states — and two high-deductible options that add to your Original Medicare benefits.

Medicare Advantage

Medicare Advantage plans are an alternative to Original Medicare, and may include additional benefits such as prescription drugs, transportation, and dental, vision, and hearing coverage. There are many types of Advantage plans; the most common ones are PPOs, HMOs, PFFS, MSAs, and SNPs. Ask us about the programs available in your area.

Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage

Medicare prescription drug coverage (Part D) makes retail prescriptions more affordable. Each Part D plan must cover all, or virtually all, drugs in these categories: antidepressants, anticonvulsants, antipsychotics, immunosuppressants, antiretrovirals (AIDS treatment), and anticancer. You can check the plan’s formulary to see if it covers the medication you need.
